Why do people believe there is an easy way to lose weight?

This really never made sense to me.
“I wanna lose 20 pounds in a month”
“Is there a quick simple way to lose weight”
“I need To lose weight Quick”
its common sense, that to lose weight, its gonna take A LOT OF SACRIFICE AND TIME…
does nobody know that, or do people just want to Believe that it’s simple?

Some people have a hard time losing weight and are in a way too bone idle to do it the healthy way by eating healthier and excercising often.
I dont know, it doesnt make sense to me either< if you want to be thinner then hop on the tredmill!

People want to believe that because they’re naive and in denial that they have to work to reach a healthy weight.
Even if there was a quick and simple way, most people would just gain the weight back!
Through hard work and dedication, people pick up better eating/exercise habits and are less tempted to go back and gain the weight!

Because that is what they want to hear. If it takes too long and uses too much energy, they won’t even bother. That is why those machines and tablets you see on T.V. use the word “Quick”

It is what they want to hear and what they want to believe.
