Okay. I’m 19. 5′6″. 142 pounds.
I want to get a jumpstart on losing up to 20 pounds total, but I have something coming up in a week, so I want to get the first 10 pounds out of the way. Quick. I know it’s possible. I’ve done research, but I’m looking for a simple step by step **diet or exercise** to help me reach my goal. If anyone could help, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Very low calorie intake, lots of working out and PLENTY of water. Sound about right?
Also, running is out of bounds for me. I have terrible knees (osgood schlatters), and my shins hurt extremely terrible after the first 10 or 15 minutes (shin splints). Probably because I played an extreme amount of sports for 8 or so years.
