How to Lose 20 Pounds in 2 Weeks – 5 Tips

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

Do you want to lose 20 pounds?

If you want to lose 20 pounds in 2 – 4 weeks, you should try to eat smaller meals more often, as well as try to exercise regularly. You should also try to drink plenty of water during the day in order to stay rehydrated.

In this article you can find 5 tips to help you lose 20 pounds successfully.

1. Eat More Often but Less.

Research has shown that eating more often but less, helps you increase your metabolism which helps you lose weight. In other words you should try to eat smaller meals more often, instead of larger meals every day. So try to divide your 3 larger meals per day into 5 – 6 smaller meals which you eat more often. If you would get hungry between your meals you could also have fruits or vegetables as snacks, which won’t be stored as extra stout on your body.

2. Exercise Regularly.

Exercising is a fantastic way to increase your body’s metabolism, and to burn more stout. Try to go your body in some way every day. 15 minutes of movements per day could be enough, and could help you burn stout successfully. Examples of exercises you could do are walking, jogging, running, swimming, different kind of sports, aerobics, spending time at the gym, spinning around, domestic homework and yard work.

3. Start Reading Food Marks.

It’s very vital to know what you’re eating if you want to get rid of stout. This is also why you should try to start reading the marks on the food you buy. If you don’t know what you’re putting in your mouth, you’re also risking to place on unwanted pounds. So don’t assume what you eat, instead learn what it is before it’s too late.

4. Drink Plenty of Water During the Day.

By drinking plenty of water during the day, you will also keep your body rehydrated, as well as flush out a lot of toxins and excess water from your body. Here you should try to drink 6 – 8 glasses of water per day in order to achieve the best results.

5. Watch Your Food Parts.

It’s recommended to have smaller food parts if you want to lose weight. Try to use smaller plates with smaller food parts every time you eat. This way the risk is also smaller that you will overeat, because your body is slow to register when it starts to get full.

How to Lose 20 Pounds in 2 Weeks – Do’s and Don’ts You Have To Know About

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

If you want to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks you need to do everything perfect. The reason is that what you’re trying to achieve is not so simple. It’s a lot of weight to lose in a small time, so I wrote down some do’s and don’ts for you to follow in order to succeed.

Do: Get enough sleep. You need to sleep enough hours to lose weight properly. At least 7 hours is what I recommend.

Don’t: Get stressed out over anything. Stress slows down the stout loss process. This is the time to be cool and relaxed.

Do: Clear out your kitchen of any fattening, calorie rich, or sugar rich food. You need to watch what you eat to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks.

Don’t: Skip meals. This will only slow down your metabolism and increase your cravings.

Do: Divide your calories into 6 meals and snacks throughout the day instead of just 3 huge meals. This is the best way to have your metabolism run quick throughout the day and to digest your food properly.

Don’t: Try to take any laxatives or medication to help you throw up. This is a road for disaster and not for a long term weight loss.

Do: A lot of cardio workouts. Cardio is an brilliant way to burn stout. You should do intensive cardio.

Don’t: Try to replace your sugar with artificial sweeteners. A lot of them aren’t really healthy and can even make you stout.

Do: Make some time to do some strength exercises. Weight training can really help you to burn a lot of calories and stout.

Don’t: Go to places where the temptation to overeat or eat terribly is high. Why place yourself at risk?

Do: Believe that you can lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks. It’s not simple but if you don’t believe in yourself you will never succeed.

Can someone help make me a diet plan to lose 20 pounds?

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

I'm 15 and I weigh about 125, but I desperately want to lose 20 pounds in the next 2-3 weeks for the summer.

Exercise wise I walk for about 2 hours a day.
& I do half an hour of yoga every other day…
I also run for about 20 minutes a day & lastly I do strength training for like 15 minutes a day.
I know I need to try and exercise more but it's so hard right now because of all my schoolwork.

Anyways, I drink tons of ice cold water. Probably 2 500mL bottles a day + 5-6 glasses.

The only thing I need to work on is my eating habits because I get tempted to eat junk food all the time.

I would really like someone to give me different meal plans / snacks for breakfast/lunch/dinner and one or two daily snacks.
I'd like to keep every meal under 150 calories.

Thanks to anyone who will help!

** OH, also… I'm a vegetarian. **
