How to Lose 20 Pounds in 2 Weeks – Do’s and Don’ts You Have To Know About

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

If you want to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks you need to do everything perfect. The reason is that what you’re trying to achieve is not so simple. It’s a lot of weight to lose in a small time, so I wrote down some do’s and don’ts for you to follow in order to succeed.

Do: Get enough sleep. You need to sleep enough hours to lose weight properly. At least 7 hours is what I recommend.

Don’t: Get stressed out over anything. Stress slows down the stout loss process. This is the time to be cool and relaxed.

Do: Clear out your kitchen of any fattening, calorie rich, or sugar rich food. You need to watch what you eat to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks.

Don’t: Skip meals. This will only slow down your metabolism and increase your cravings.

Do: Divide your calories into 6 meals and snacks throughout the day instead of just 3 huge meals. This is the best way to have your metabolism run quick throughout the day and to digest your food properly.

Don’t: Try to take any laxatives or medication to help you throw up. This is a road for disaster and not for a long term weight loss.

Do: A lot of cardio workouts. Cardio is an brilliant way to burn stout. You should do intensive cardio.

Don’t: Try to replace your sugar with artificial sweeteners. A lot of them aren’t really healthy and can even make you stout.

Do: Make some time to do some strength exercises. Weight training can really help you to burn a lot of calories and stout.

Don’t: Go to places where the temptation to overeat or eat terribly is high. Why place yourself at risk?

Do: Believe that you can lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks. It’s not simple but if you don’t believe in yourself you will never succeed.

How can you lose 20 pounds a month for 4 months (I’m 17)?

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

I need to lose about 80 pounds. I'm 17 and I'm going to get a breast augmentation with lift when I'm 18 so I don't see a purpose in getting it when if I lose weight, my breasts will just sag and lose volume again like the last time I lost weight. I lost 80 pounds a few years ago because I gained weight on medication. Some of the weight came off and this weight has just stayed on. I can't really exercise because I have arthritis but I'm willing to. Also I don't eat a lot. I despise junk food so it's not like I can cut out quick food and snacking and lose weight because that's not how I gained it and it's not a problem for me. So how can I lose 20 pounds a month? I don't care if it's unhealthy (I'm sure being 80 pounds overweight isn't healthy either). Just as long as it works. Thanks. Don't post if you're going to tell me to lose 2 pounds a week. That's bull.
I was looking at the Stillman diet. I know people who have done it and lost weight and people I've questioned said they lost weight from it. Does it really work?

Cross country skiing is starting in a month. I really want to do it, but my doctor says I’m too over weight to participate in something like that. He said it becomes a huge health risk. I don’t know why.

Anyway, in order to participate, I need to lose 20 pounds in a month, without starving myself or medication, or anything like that. Any help is appreciated.
