One pound is equal to 3500 calories. So to burn 20 pounds that’s 70,000 calories. Theres 10 weeks between now and april which means you need to burn 7,000 excess calories a week which means that you will have to burn 1000 calories more than you take in every day. So if you eat 2000 calories a day you will need to burn off 3000 to sustain this kind of weight loss.
Remember though that your basal metabolic rate means you burn off about 1500 calories a day just being alive and if you eat healthily and maintain an active lifestyle you will lose weight.
